Whilst I don't believe Joon-hyung would ever spill the beans on Bok-ju, he sure likes to cut it fine by toying with her every chance he gets. During their conversations with Jae-yi, the amount of times he subtly overtly referenced weightlifting had me cackling, but I could see why that would be no fun for Bok-ju, who probably already feels like she's hanging by a thread.
And gullible Bok-ju is back. It strikes me funny how little she understands Joon-hyung and what makes him tick, coz technically he really has nothing to gain from outing her lie and he tells her as such, but she still decides to strike a deal with him anyway, thinking that would keep him silent, when really, it just puts him in a bigger WIN-WIN situation - HA!
the winning streak. She's practically betrays her entire team, and saves his ass in the process, just so he keeps her secret quiet. Yep, Joon-hyung, you stew in that guilt a little while longer! To be fair, he didn't think she would take it this far, and he's visibly upset that she did, feeling downright guilty that her team lost as a result.
Turns out he seriously miscalculated her affections for his brother, coz this is the point he realises just how serious she is about Jae-yi. I love their heated exchanges coz they always feel so raw and honest. They don't beat around the bush, and they spell things out exactly as they are.
What I love most about Joon-hyung's reaction is that, even though he underestimated her affections for his brother, what fuels his anger most is that Bok-ju would even think that he'd out her secret to her team mates or his brother.
His face hardens when he questions what it is that she likes about his brother so much, angry that she'd take it this far for his (brother's) sake. whilst her crush on his brother clearly affects him, I don't think he realises why just yet. One thing's for sure though is that it frustrates and annoys him to no end. He's annoyed at himself and her, for reasons which he hasn't quite worked out yet. It's so typical of that age to direct your anger at the person in front of you rather than work out the reasons behind it in the first place. You can see a brief moment of sadness which passes Joon-hyung's face when she apologises for liking his brother so much, when really, that isn't the point of his distress.
The best part of it is though, that Joon-hyung doesn't let his frustrations get the better of him, and instead, actively tries to be an even better friend to Bok-ju, even if it means doing something which negates his own growing feelings for her. Like when he gives up his seat for Bok-ju, just so she can get some alone time with his brother. And even though her liking classical music is a complete and utter lie, that fact that Joon-hyung goes along with it, shows that he will support her no matter what, which, awww!! /blush
